    OT:Precision Port 6"Flared Port Tube Kit - anyone used it ??

    Hello,

    Looking to use these in my speaker project. Does anyone have any experience with these? Wondering how well they work, and if the port length calculator (either on the Precision Port site or Linear Team site) gives a pretty good length estimate. Any insight would be appreciated.

    No personal experience, but so many have been used around the world for so many years now with no 'bad mouthing' that I can recall, so wouldn't hesitate to use them if the want/need arised. Just make sure the joint is sealed with at least duct tape and if it's > a 2-3" long, brace/support it on the other end also if tuned < ~40 Hz [ditto PVC, cardboard, etc., tubes].
